The American Basketball Association (ABA) has realigned the divisions within the Central Region, presumably in an effort to even up the number of teams in each division as the season progresses.
According to their website, the ABA has split up the Red Division, sending four of the nine teams to the Blue Division to join the Akron Aviators out of Akron, Ohio and the Steel City Yellow Jackets out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The remaining five teams now comprise the Red Division.
We will now start keeping track of the Blue Division to finish out the season. As soon as we are able, we’ll add a page to this site for the Blue Division.
